Alkonost Classic est un label français de musique classique créé en 2014. Il a été fondé par Mikhaïl Tchalik, ancien co-fondateur et directeur artistique du label Suoni e Colori pendant 20 ans. En tant qu’ingénieur du son, il a enregistré de nombreux artistes de renommée internationale et possède une grande expérience du milieu de la production et de l’édition phonographique.

Depuis sa création, Alkonost s’attache à faire de chaque sortie d’album un événement. Le label est constamment en recherche de projets originaux et de nouveaux talents. Autour d’un projet musical, il n’hésite pas à réunir écrivains, peintres, philosophes, musicologues, qui participent tous à faire d’un album un objet artistique d’exception. Il sort ainsi régulièrement des premières mondiales, mais également des disques à thèmes qui mettent l’histoire ou la littérature au cœur des albums. La qualité esthétique des pochettes entre également en résonnance avec leur contenu. En tant que label indépendant, Alkonost jouit d’une grande liberté éditoriale dans le choix de ses titres. Il propose au public des aventures musicales révélant de nouvelles perspectives historiques qui permettent de porter un regard inédit sur un répertoire existant.

Alkonost prend un soin particulier à l’élaboration et à la qualité de ses enregistrements. Il choisit avec exigence les lieux de captation, de façon à trouver l’acoustique qui révèle au mieux l’expressivité des interprètes : salle Colonne à Paris, la Seine Musicale à Boulogne… C’est avant tout la retranscription de l’authenticité des interprétations qui est recherchée.
